Position Summary
The Senior Manager – Projects will lead end-to-end project planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and commercial control to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of projects. The role requires strong leadership across project teams, vendors, internal functions, and customers, with a strong focus on risk mitigation, contract compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple projects from planning to completion while ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, cost, and quality parameters.
- Manage project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and site execution teams across regions.
- Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, legal teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
- Prepare and review project schedules, resource plans, recovery plans, and progress reports.
- Track project milestones, identify delays, and implement corrective and rescue actions.
- Oversee subcontractor management, vendor coordination, procurement follow-up, and post-order execution.
- Handle contract administration, project-related notices, closure documentation, EOT claims, and cost claims.
- Support warranty, DLP, and O&M phases as required.
- Review BOQs, estimates, technical specifications, and commercial proposals.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular review meetings and present project status, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Maintain MIS dashboards, documentation, and reporting for all active projects.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior project staff and drive cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management preferred.
- Strong background in project execution, planning, and site coordination.
- Required Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in project management, planning, and execution.
- Proven experience in leading multi-location or multi-project operations.
- Strong exposure to project planning, subcontractor management, billing, vendor management, and contract administration.
- Experience in handling EOT, claims, recovery planning, and stakeholder negotiations.
